SOLIDS are DWG/ DXF elements that represent polygon-filled, polygonal areas. They are used by many DWG/ DXF interfaces to represent filled hatches. We even had a DWG/ DXF file that used solids to represent contours of machine parts (rather than using polylines of a certain width).
Using this function, all solids can be deleted and solid contours can be represented by lines.
