Removing Objects on Layers

In many CAD systems, the hatches are associative elements that are strictly bound to the hatching boundaries. These elements are regenerated before each regeneration or plotting operation.

Unfortunately, true associative hatches cannot be generated in DWG/DXF files up to version 13. Hatching in DXF is usually an anonymous *X block, which contains all the hatching elements (lines, points, etc.) in full and often represents a very complex entity.

In DWG/DXF data transfer, this often results in hatchings that are wrongly scaled and sometimes contain millions of lines or points. In this case, only the removal of all hatchings will help. After enabling this feature, all the hatch blocks (starting with *X) and all INSERTS from these blocks will be removed from the DWG/DXF files.
